RN · RPN · PSW — open to all care professionals
Take the shift that pays what it says it pays.
Rate, hours and distance on the card before you tap. A two-sided arrival record instead of a signature sheet. Payout per shift, automatically.

01 · For care professionals
You pick the shift, the radius, and the rate you'll accept.
No dispatcher deciding your week. No Friday-evening call pressuring you into a Saturday night. A shift near you is a notification you're free to ignore — apply when you want the work, rest easy when you don't.
Three steps, and nobody has to phone anybody.
How it works
Find it
Open shifts inside your radius, matched to your credential, with the rate printed on the card.
Confirm it
A four-digit handshake at arrival and at the end. Both sides sign the same record.
Get paid
The facility is charged, you are paid out, automatically, once the shift closes.
Walk in as prepared as the people who work there.
The same required education a facility's internal staff complete, on your phone, tracked in the same app as the work — so every shift is care you're proud to sign your name to.
One curriculum, both sides
The required courses you complete are the same ones a facility's own team works through. You walk in current on the same standard as the people who work there.
Renewals flagged early
An expiring course shows up in the app before it lapses — never as a surprise the moment you try to apply.
Good work compounds
Facilities see your rating and how many shifts you've worked with them, and can mark you as a favorite — favorites surface first when you apply. Do good work and the same doors keep opening.
On the roadmap — not in the beta yet
We're designing a reward for consistently high-rated professionals — a bonus funded by Shiftmark, never billed to the facility. Ratings are already live; do good work now and it will count.
The handshake
Four digits at the door. Four more when you leave.
Both sides confirm the same arrival, so the record isn't one party's word against the other's — and the payout has something behind it. Try it:

Why it holds up
Training enforced, registration confirmed at accept
Mandatory training is enforced before a shift can be claimed. Registration is confirmed by the facility as it accepts you, against the document on file.
A record neither side owns alone
Arrival and departure are confirmed by both parties, timestamped, and attached to the shift.
Money moves when the shift closes
The facility is charged and the professional is paid automatically. No invoices, no chasing.
02 · For facilities
Cover the shift without gambling on who the agency sends.
You know where the compliance findings come from: temporary staff who don't know your building and haven't kept their education current — while the regulatory bar for agency workers keeps rising. On Shiftmark that check is structural: a professional who isn't current on required education can't even apply to your shift.
One posting, in the order you'd want anyway.
How a gap gets filled
Your team sees it first
Post the gap once, visible to your own staff only. Someone picks it up from their phone — no call list, no email chain. Internal pickups never touch the platform's billing.
Open it up — one switch
If nobody takes it, widen the same posting to the marketplace. Only professionals current on their required education can apply.
You choose who works
Applicants come ranked — rating, credential status, education record, and their history at your facility. Your favorites float to the top.
Your own team's education, tracked in the same place.
A live view of your active staff's training — who's current, who's due, course by course — on the phones they already carry. The curriculum is authored and kept current by Shiftmark, so you get the compliance picture without running a training program.
And when you do go outside: you accept the applicant, the applicant doesn't get assigned to you. Ratings, credential status, education record and shift history, before you decide. Favorites keep the good ones coming back.

FAQ
- Are professionals verified before they show up?
- Mandatory training is enforced before a shift can be claimed. Registration is confirmed by the facility as it accepts an applicant, against the document on file — checked before the shift, by the people accountable for it.
- Who sets the rate?
- The facility sets it when posting. It is visible on the card up front — no negotiating at the door.
- When do I actually get paid?
- Payout is triggered by shift completion, not by an invoicing cycle. Each payout is named for the shift that earned it.
- Who can sign up?
- Any registered care professional — RN, RPN or PSW. Verify your credential and you can start claiming shifts; there is no roster to be accepted onto.
- Can our own staff pick up a shift before it goes public?
- Yes. A shift can be posted visible to your employees only, and widened to the marketplace with one change if nobody takes it. Internal pickups aren't billed through the platform.
- Do outside professionals have to complete training?
- Yes — required continuing education is enforced by the platform before anyone can apply to your shift, and each applicant's education record is shown to you before you accept.
