For residential care facilities
No time to reread the binder?
They don't have to.
In a residential home the person on shift is often the only one who can answer. Your procedures are one question away, answered from the version you have live, and required education is tracked in the same app.
- Policies keep changing
- Answers come from the current version only
- SOPs needed right now
- One question away, with the source
- Education to keep current
- Who's current and who's due, tracked
SAME QUESTION, BEFORE AND AFTER A POLICY CHANGE
Fill in the paper incident form and leave it in the manager's tray. Searching your documents… Complete the incident report online before the end of your shift, and tell the person in charge.
The SOP, when they need it
When there's nobody to ask, ask the binder.
Not buried in a shared drive or a binder in the office. Ask in plain language, typed or spoken, and get the passage from your documents with the document, version and section. If they don't cover it, it says so and points to a supervisor.

Continuing education
Stop chasing training records.
A live view of your active staff's training: who's current and who's due, course by course. The curriculum is written and kept current by Shiftmark, so you get the compliance picture without running a training program.
FAQ
Before you ask
Can workers look up our facility's policies in the app?
Yes. You upload the policy documents you already maintain, and anyone working your floor, whether your own staff or a marketplace professional, can ask a question in plain language and get the relevant passage back, cited to the document, version and section it came from. When your documents don't cover a question, it says so and points them to a supervisor rather than guessing.
Do outside professionals have to complete training?
Yes. Required continuing education is enforced by the platform before anyone can apply to your shift, and each applicant's education record is shown to you before you accept.
Can our own staff pick up a shift before it goes public?
Yes. A shift can be posted visible to your employees only, and widened to the marketplace with one change if nobody takes it. Internal pickups aren't billed through the platform.
Are professionals verified before they show up?
Mandatory training is enforced before a shift can be claimed. Registration is confirmed by the facility as it accepts an applicant, against the document on file, checked before the shift by the people accountable for it.
How are we billed?
One invoice every two weeks, covering the shifts completed from the 1st to the 15th and from the 16th to month end. It reaches your billing contact by email with a hosted payment page: pre-authorised debit or card, net 15. Nothing is charged per shift and no card is kept on file.
